11 March 2013 – Today was a day of travel.  We signed out of the Negelle Turaco Hotel in Negelle, had lunch in Awasa, then ended up staying at The Safari Lodge in Adama (also called Nazaret, depending on the language used making the map). 

The long drive was adeptly negotiated by our driver Danny, and the trip seemed shorter due to the many stories and personal anecdotes shared by guide Abdi Abdullahi Hussein (Abdi is his name; Abdullah is the name of his father; Hussein the name of his grandfather).
